I think it is still very relevant just more things out there in the form of social media saturating the place that makes it seem like skateboarding is less so pop culture and fashion for starters is heavily influenced by skateboarding culture supreme is everywhere now i used to hang out at the original supreme skate shop in nyc in the 90s and just hang out and skate the curb there all day.
